Just My Type by Falon Ballard

I really enjoyed this second-chance workplace romance! Lana is a journalist for an online magazine and focuses on articles about dating. She's a serial monogamist and has been jumping from one long-term relationship to another through her entire adulthood. She thought her boyfriend of 4 years was about to propose but he took them back to their first date spot to dump her instead. After drowning her sorrows for a night, she has to go into work for a mandatory meeting the next morning, only to come face-to-face with Seth, her first love. After they broke up at the end of high school, he went on to become a jet-setting journalist, covering stories all over the world. Now he's in LA, trying to secure a job with the Chronicle, who just acquired her online magazine. Seth is a serial dater, so he and Lana are pitted against one another.

Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese

Chloe Liese writes the most beautifully imperfect characters that give me the opportunity to connect their vulnerabilities to my own. It makes me feel like I’m living in the story with them in a way that I rarely experience with other authors. I loved the hostile banter that starts between Jamie and Bea during their meet-disaster and I love how they still drive one another nuts as they become friends and then more. Jamie was so so so romantic with all of his surprises and consideration. And Bea was just so vibrant and open. I loved them both!

Things We Hide From the Light by Lucy Score

This book. 😍 This book is living on my shelf with my all-time favorites. It honestly had everything I want in a story - emotional connection between the main characters (not just physical/lust), humor, action, suspense … I could gush on and on. I’m definitely living in my romantic suspense era, and this definitely hit the mark.

Binding 13 and Keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh

I don’t even know where to start on reviewing this duet. First off, you should know, these books are like 1700 pages combined and you HAVE to read them back to back because the first book ends on a cliffhanger. I did a combo of ebook and audiobook and I’m so glad I did because the audiobook was so helpful with all of the Irish pronunciations and accents.
