Book Reviews & News!
Scroll to see my thoughts on new releases and old favorites. I mostly read romance but there’s occasionally a literary fiction, mystery or thriller thrown into the mix. Enjoy and please let me know your thoughts!
The Plus One by Mazey Eddings
If you've read The Kiss Quotient, The Bride Test & The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang, you'll remember that The Heart Principle was much more emotional and much more focused on their separate health/mental health journeys (especially the female MC) and less time was spent specifically on the romantic relationship. I feel like The Plus One is similar to the Heart Principle in this series.
Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan
This book was distressing and emotional at times but ultimately, an epic love story! This is a right person-wrong time forbidden romance but unfortunately for Iris it is much darker than that.
Binding 13 and Keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh
I don’t even know where to start on reviewing this duet. First off, you should know, these books are like 1700 pages combined and you HAVE to read them back to back because the first book ends on a cliffhanger. I did a combo of ebook and audiobook and I’m so glad I did because the audiobook was so helpful with all of the Irish pronunciations and accents.
